A record 41 entries were recieved for the Victorian Trailable Yacht State Titles that were magnificently run by the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club on behalf of the Victorian Trailable Yacht Division.

The wind forecast for the weekend was looking challening with under 10kts on the Saturday afternoon, and under 5kts for the Sunday morning. Thankfully Saturday afternoon turned out to be better than forecast and 3 short passage races were able to be run which ensured the series would be valid. Sunday morning was more challenging with AP displayed ashore until 10:55 with not enough breeze to run a race. Boats got the race course at 11:30, but a another glassout ensued before eventually the breeze shifted and built enough to get a 4th race for the series underway at about midday.
